As a system validation engineer I was primarily responsible for planning and executing the testing needed to demonstrate that the automated driving system assisting or replacing the human driver is well behaved on the roadways it is designed for. My key accomplishments include: • Led the validation of an L2+ automated driving system that was integrated into the Jeep Grand Cherokee • Developed and executed ∼300 test procedures to validate an automated driving system, saving ∼$100,000 in outsourcing costs • Managed the procurement, calibration and testing of a surround-view camera system for a prototype vehicle, which led to its integration into the Chrysler Pacifica

The Chrysler Institute of Engineering (C.I.E) Program is a leadership development program within the Product Development organization. Engineering graduates go through rotational assignments in various departments such as Powertrain, Quality, Manufacturing, Design and Marketing. The program provides exposure to different divisions within the company. Key Highlights include: • Saved $26M per day in cycle-time losses, for a RAM 1500 manufacturing line that was running slower than the ideal time, by implementing a process change. • Analyzed customer survey data to build a customer profile persona for the 2017 Dodge Journey, which resulted in ∼20% increased sales. • Managed quality-control milestones for the 2017 Jeep Compass to ensure a successful press launch. • Influenced key features for the Dodge Journey by interviewing customers and conducting competitor analysis • Led the resolution of vehicle-body issues discovered during the RAM 1500 pre-series build preventing launch delays.

• Researched the efficiency of converting excess electricity from renewable energy sources into hydrogen by water electrolysis which can be stored, and reconverted into electricity with fuel cells. • Studied and compared the carbon emissions of natural gas and hydrogen enriched natural gas for internal combustion engines in automobiles. • Investigated the energy return on investment of natural gas and determined the efficiency of using hydrogen fuel cells to power vehicles and generate electricity.

• Developed a Quality Management Plan that would be used by Alcoa Intalco Works and the State of Washington to monitor sulphur dioxide concentrations in the ambient air. • Assisted environmental engineers in finding outlets for Aluminum hydroxide (filter cake) in order to reduce the landfill waste generated as part of the zero to waste landfill initiative.This included researching chemical processes that would convert Aluminum hydroxide sludge into more useful products and finding industries that could reuse the sludge. • Prepared detailed standard operating procedures for remediation activities such as the groundwater containment extraction and treatment system, air stripper units and pumping wells. • Put together user friendly Emergency Response Action Plans (ERAP) that would be included in the Release Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (RPCC) plan. • Completed solid waste determination forms and performed Toxic Release Inventory calculations. • Proposed a recycling program that would increase the culture of recycling in TRACO.
