I am a Computer Engineer with a Master's degree in progress in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Embedded Systems for Wireless Communication and IoT. My academic journey at the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), Brazil, has been driven by a passion for bridging hardware and software to build efficient, real-world solutions. My research experience spans embedded systems design, microcontroller programming, communication protocols (MAC layer, ALOHA, CSMA/CD, IEEE standards), and hardware-level optimization. During my undergraduate research at GEDRE, I worked hands-on in an electronics laboratory developing embedded solutions for lighting systems gaining deep knowledge in hardware design, firmware development, and signal analysis. Alongside research, I have practical engineering experience: at Irriga Global, an agri-tech IoT startup, I worked in the hardware team on the physical assembly of remote monitoring stations, electrical testing, firmware updates, and field deployment of LoRaWAN-based networks with soil and climate sensors. I also provided network infrastructure support at UFSM, covering equipment configuration, physical cabling, and technical documentation. I am currently seeking PhD opportunities in Wireless Communication, Digital Twins, or IoT particularly in European institutions that value interdisciplinary, applied engineering research.
