Experienced Employment and Training Advisor with over 4 years’ experience within the welfare to work sector. As an Employment and Training Advisor I manage a diverse caseload working closely with a range of clients including Job Seeker Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance and FSF Youth Contract clients. I tailor my approach to each individual working with SMART targets on a daily basis. I provide a mentoring/advisor service which relies heavily on building profitable relationships. I identify and source training needs, encourage and progress clients via action planned journeys, overcome individual barriers (signposting where necessary), establish clear and achievable job goals for the individual concerned and liaise with external companies (potential employers/recruitment agencies and training groups) on behalf of the client to aid employment progression. Ultimately my job is to place individuals into work or training whilst providing excellent information and guidance.
