Meredith Campion

Meredith was a founding partner of the Perth office of Allen & Overy which merged with Shearman Stirling on 1 May 2024 to form A&O Shearman, the world's third largest law firm. Meredith practised in the areas of corporate, commercial and energy and resources law and has advised on a wide range of commercial transactions, including takeovers, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, capital raisings and joint ventures. She has conducted comprehensive compliance and due diligence programs in those areas. Meredith has considerable experience in offshore transactions, having advised on a number of AIM, LSE, TSX and JSE listings and offshore capital raisings. She also advises on acquisitions and raisings by foreign entities in Australia. Meredith was included in the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining in December 2013 and has been voted by peers as one of Australia's Best Lawyers each year from 2010 to 2014 for Corporate work and Mergers and Acquisitions.
