As a member of the Advocacy Subcommittee of the CSHA School-Based Committee (California Speech-Language Hearing Association) I aim to influence state/federal policy and funding for speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and audiologists working in schools, ensuring students get necessary services for communication/hearing disorders by advocating for adequate resources, equitable access, and integration of SBHCs (School-Based Health Centers) within the education system, focusing on issues like Medi-Cal reimbursement and fighting for student health needs. As a member I support and work in the following areas/topics: Policy & Legislation: Developing CSHA's stance on bills and regulations affecting school-based services. Resource Allocation: Advocating for funding to support SLP/Audiology services in schools, including Medicaid (EPSDT) mandates. Access & Equity: Working to ensure all students, especially vulnerable ones, have access to high-quality, age-appropriate care in school settings. Collaboration: Partnering with other organizations, legislative bodies, and state departments to advance their mission. Education: Informing the public, legislators, and other professionals about the critical role and scope of SLPs in schools. Youth Voice: Amplifying student experiences to shape school-based health initiatives.

Offering tailored speech and language therapy services to clients of all ages helping them improve communication skills and overcome challenges. With a compassionate approach and a commitment to excellence she is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for her clients through effective therapeutic techniques.

In home early intervention summer contract SLP - provided regional center services as mandated in child’s IFSP

Providing one-on-one tutoring to students in various subject areas with an individualized approach Areas of expertise include; ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, Pragmatics Deficits, and Expressive/Receptive Language Disorders.

Graduate clinical experience working with patients diagnosed with dyslexia, expressive writing disorders, voice, Parkinson’s disease, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, amongst others.

Served as support to related services providers in the area of Speech Language Pathology. Programmed and provided one-on-one, group, and push in therapy in grades K-6th.
