The goal of BT Operations is to ensure the 24x7 availability of the IT foundation and to create TenneT's business technology foundation for the future. As Head BT Operations I am responsible for the IT infrastructure, integration & cloud, cyber security execution, the IT workspace for all employees and IT vendor & supply management.

Currently I am Manager Strategic IT Services at TenneT. As Manager Strategic IT Services I am responsible for all IT services related to TenneT’s primary processes like electricity transmission & market systems, asset management, digital transformation and billing. The responsibility includes both the development and the management of the systems. The scope is international and includes own build services and the management of external suppliers.

Additional to Team Manager Customer Services, ad interim Team Manager Relation Management, which team is especially responsible for the relation with the conencted parties.

As legal counsel I specialized in (international) cooperations, energy law and regulation. I published and have given several courses regarding aforementioned subjects. Since April 2011 I have been member of the Legal and Regulatory Group of ENTSO E. Before that I was member of UCTE's Legal Group. Besides that I was member of a lot of national and international projects and convener of TSC's Legal Group for 5 years. Project Manager for the TSOs of the TSO Security Cooperation (TSC) Phase 1: assessment of the possibilities for TSC’s future organisation model; and Phase 2: business plan for implementation of chosen organisation model & establishment of the Central Service Providing Entity (CSPE)

Projectmanagement. Negotiations, contracting, and implementation of sub management on Stedin's 150 kV grids (transfer from Stedin to TenneT). To improve the borders between the grids the project also contained the purchase of 2 overhead transmission lines and the sale of 42 HV transformers.

As of September 2025 5 organizations for primary education merged and created Flevion, forming an organization for around 25 schools for primary education in Flevoland. I have joined the Supervisory as member with focus on operations and finance.

SIBZ and SKOZ are the foundations for two schools in Zeewolde, respectively Kaleidoscoop and De Toermalijn. January 2020 I joined the Supervisory Board. I was treasurer until July 2023. Since then I am the Chair.
