Provide insight oriented psychotherapy to adults (individuals and couples) using a psychodynamic framework. Work with children primarily using non-directive play therapy techniques. Utilize both play and talk therapy with adolescents based on developmental needs and presenting problem. Special interest in working with expecting mothers, new parents, and families. Areas of focus: self esteem, anxiety, depression, life transition, loss & grief, identity, relationship concerns, and painful/ difficult childhoods. Parent work includes: concerns around becoming a parent, life balance, postpartum depression & anxiety, uncertainty around parenting, sibling relationships, parenting philosophy/ style, conflicts with partner around parenting, child's temperament/ development, and family of origin concerns.

* Summer counselor working with students (7-9th grade) from underserved circumstances. Summerbridge provides academic, emotional, and social support to students with the goal of facilitating graduation from a four year university Served as a counselor for students on an as needed basis * collaborated with Director of Learning Services * worked with faculty (Teaching Fellows, Instructional Coaches, and the administrative team) to identify and develop support plans for students of particular concern * consulted with parents on specific needs and support for students
