I purchase raw materials and consumables for our printing operation, as well as handle customer accounts and process orders. I specialize in aluminum foil items, including importing of foil from overseas sources and inventory management due to lead times for importing. In addition, I am responsible for the environmental sustainability of the company, which includes hazardous waste management and ensuring that zero production waste goes to landfill. I am committed to doing not only what is best for the company and our bottom line, but the environment as well.

As an ink technician I was responsible for matching the product color that our customers desired, and ensuring that we had accurate formulations in our data systems for future production. I was also responsible for ordering and tracking inventory, calculating ink usage data for accurate costing of items, and creating color samples to be sent for customer approval.

As the second shift pressroom supervisor, I was responsible for making sure that orders were produced correctly, efficiently and to the customer's specifications. I performed signoffs on each item that was produced and also performed color matching on inks as there was not an ink technician on the evening shifts.

I began as a press operator in the production department, and shortly after became an assistant manager of one of the departments. I then transferred to the office where I was an order processor for the Color Vista team, which specialized in printing high resolution CMYK images onto the reusable non-woven polypropylene tote bags.
