• Reviews reporting processes and provides recommendations for improvement where required. • Reviews report balances and movements, investigating any anomalies and making adjustments as required • Perform monthly & bank reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including the necessary adjustments required for each account • Monthly Variance Cost Analysis between the Company’s “Actual” spending and the “Forecasted figures ● Preparation and Lodgement of Statutory Accounts as a public document with the ROC ● Oversees the running of each Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable functions in PNG which includes making sure internal controls are in place ● Assist the external accountants with the preparation of the PNG Income Tax and Training Levy Returns ● Preparation and lodgement of the Company’s PNG monthly statutory returns with the IRC ● Preparation and lodgement of the Company’s PNG Certificate of Compliance (CoC) including tax clearance aaplications with the IRC ● Preparation and lodgement of the Company’s Solomon Island branch’s Income Tax Returns including monthly statutory tax returns ● Preparation and lodgement of the Company’s SI branch’s “Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Return" on a quarterly basis with the Central Bank of Solomon Island ● Preparation and lodgement of the Company’s SI branch’s Annual Survey with the SI Government's Company office ● Works with the External Reporting Team to ensure that the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports required by the Head Office Group are prepared, reviewed and submitted for the required portion of the Group by the due dates ● Co-ordinates and assists with the external audit annually ● Oversees the day-to-day running of the administrative side of things for finance and head office in PNG • Buying and selling foreign currencies ● User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in Brisbane for a new system called Microsoft Dynamics AX including rollout of the training

● Preparation of financial statements (on Solution 6 & XPA Accounting package) ● Preparation and lodgement of PNG Company Income Tax Returns ● Liaison with the respective clients regarding their accounts ● Delegation of tasks to the junior staff and overseeing the completion of those jobs ● Preparation of Australian Individual Tax Returns’ supporting schedules ● Preparation and lodgement of Individual & Partnership Income Tax Returns ● Preparation and lodgement of training levy returns ● Preparation and lodgement of annual returns and resolutions ● Responding to notice of assessments for and on behalf of clients including subsequent liaisons with IRC ● Preparation and lodgement of group tax remittances for and on behalf of the clients ● of GST Returns for and on behalf of clients. ● Secondment for 3 months to client’s office (Lamana Development Ltd), duties included o Deletion of incorrect entries on MYOB o Creation of new MYOB ledger o Processing of payments, sales and year-end entries onto existing & new MYOB ledgers o Bank Reconciliations
