I started at Brain Balance with a thirst for helping families with health related issues. As a behavioral health and wellness coach, I was able to empower students by conducting 15 minute creative and personalized assessments for 20-25 people daily. I tracked and saw measurable results within a 3 month time span for 20 different students. This greatly increased the reliability of our organization and the trust of each student’s parents. I also communicate effectively in order to successfully execute a project or task. In college I coordinated and planned an eye glasses drive for the refugees of Twin Falls, Idaho. I was able to gain volunteer support of 18 different businesses, including 2 optometrists. I quickly learned how to use a refractor machine and pupil distance meters. I determined the eligibility of the refugees who attended, and overcame language barriers. I was able to find prescriptions of, and fund eye glasses for approximately 25 of the refugees who attended.
