During my studies, I worked as a mentor in the Ada Lovelace Project for four years to get young women interested in STEM subjects - in particular scientific and technical topics relating to food, technology and research. In workshops, school cooperations and vacation offers, I imparted practical knowledge, gave insights into studying and acted as an authentic role model. It was particularly important to me to boost the self-confidence of female students and show them that women not only can be successful in all areas - they already are.
