Growing up on a family farm in Southern Idaho, I developed a passion for the industry that clothes and feeds the world at a young age. As a biological engineer, I hope to contribute to the evolving science and technology within the agriculture industry. Through my education at Utah State, I am becoming equipped with the knowledge, skillset and relationships to develop and improve techniques used in food production. Combining my agriculture background with the technical education acquired at Utah State and the leadership skills obtained through extracurricular activities, my goal is to promote sustainable farming and food processing strategies.
