I'm known as an insightful and motivational senior leader, manager and executive coach and have 25 years experience working in the Royal Navy. Now specialising in strategic HR my passion is exploiting skills and talents for the benefit of the individual, team and organisation's outputs. I welcome any opportunity to make a contribution and elicit organisational change. Introspective, conscientious and curious, I am always seeking to broaden an individual's perspective using an eclectic mix of skills I've gathered through my personal development. I'm studying a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management alongside my full time role as a Captain in the Royal Navy. I am a certified Master Practitioner in NLP, a Master Coach, have an APM Project Management Qualification, and i am also a Reiki Master Practitioner and Hynotherapist. In my spare time I am a sports enthusiast with a passion for group fitness and 10km running.

Perhaps the most rewarding experience of my journey towards being recognised as a HR professional was achieving my Fellowship through the Experience Assessment route. I've embraced my Fellowship with the CIPD as it was hard earned, and hugely rewarding to know my work in the Royal Navy has been validated by a professional body. The assessment earned me entry at highest level in the CIPD and introduced me to the value of bench marking and networking beyond my own organisation.
