Rubaiyat Marufuji is located in Fujii, Katsunuma Town, Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Rubaiyat Marufuji was founded in 1890 by Jisaku Omura. Rubaiyat Marufuji is one of the oldest wineries in Japan. It currently produces 1.5 million bottles of wine annually. Worth mentioning is its dry white fruity wine made from 100% Koshu grapes. This wine adopts the traditional yeast contact method in the Loire region of France. This is a brewing process in which the dead yeast sediment is not filtered during the aging period of the wine in oak barrels, allowing the wine to fully contact the yeast sediment. Before this winemaking process, almost all wines made from Kashu grapes were mostly sweet wines.

The University of Tokyo was founded in 1877, originating from the merger and restructuring of the "Tokyo Kaisei School" and the "Tokyo Medical School" during the Meiji Restoration. Initially, it had four faculties of law, science, literature, and medicine, as well as a university preparatory school. As Japan's first national comprehensive university, the history of some of its departments can be traced back to the reign of Emperor Reigen. The name of the school has undergone many changes. In 1886, it was renamed "Imperial University" and became Japan's first imperial university. In 1897, it was renamed "Tokyo Imperial University". Finally, in September 1947, it was officially named "Tokyo University". In the 2024 QS World University Rankings, the University of Tokyo ranks 28th.
