Supported the Chief Digitalisation Officer and Head Plans in shaping DIS’s digital strategy. Led key initiatives in AI enablement, devops, and compute infrastructure, while working with national and global tech partners. Contributed to digital policy efforts and supported senior leadership across cross-agency engagements.

I helped establish DIS’s first Digitalisation Office and played a key role in shaping its long-term digital and AI strategy. I worked across the defence tech ecosystem to initiate partnerships, set up foundational infrastructure like compute and CI/CD platforms, and create pathways for capability development. The work elements of strategy, policy, and early-stage product thinking within a public sector context.

I lead a team of six developers; and owned the group's product planning, delivery and production throughout the product lifecycle to generate real value to the organisation. We develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal ops stakeholders, market research and leading innovations in the market. As PM, it was vital to play the bridging role and smoothen coordination processes between Operational Teams and Technical cross-functional teams to solve operational problems.

I led the development of core capabilities to support open-source intelligence operations. This included crafting the group’s 5-year strategic roadmap, designing policy mechanisms to accelerate acquisition, and managing a portfolio of projects to deliver automation and exploitation tools.

Started my career in the Singapore Armed Forces, where I served as both a Military Intelligence Analyst and Officer-in-Command. I led operational teams, conducted strategic and tactical intelligence assessments, and supported time-sensitive decision-making. These experiences trained me to think clearly under pressure, operate in high-stakes environments, and build the discipline and structure that continue to guide my work in tech and innovation today.
