HEKA lab is an authorized distributor of Cytiva in Turkey. With my hands-on experience in protein purification systems, I deliver our expertise to customers' protein purification problems and needs. I am responsible for the sales of AKTA chromatography systems to R&D departments of private industries, University research labs, and biological drug manufacturers. I also install devices that are sold and provide application support on-site.

As a research intern I am conducting my research project as a follow up to my bachelor´s thesis work. Quality control of purified proteins, Circular dichroism, electron microscopy imaging are the main responsibilities and instruments I am utilizing to conclude my research.

I am one of the founders of Giemsa.net web-based science magazine. I publish review papers on different disciplines such as infection biology, structural biology, and popular science. My responsibilities as a founder/editor/content creator includes revising the content of other authors, editing them, and publishing reviews. Founding Giemsa.net gave me an opportunity to lead a small start-up, increasing my experience in academic writing, and helped me broaden my scientific knowledge.

I have pursued assistancy at Erasmus International Office of Uskudar University. My responsibilities include documentation of incoming and outgoing students and as well as assisting students with their application to abroad universities. Arranging cultural events for exchange students was also another aspect of responsibility in this position. My prior language proficiency in English, and in Swedish helped me adapt to the position dramatically.

As a intern researcher in the group of Cihan Tastan in TRGENMER facility, I was a member of the CAR-T cell research group. The research mainly shaped around comparison for two different CAR-T cell production and their preclinical in vivo and in vitro efficacy. During my internship, I have gained experience and basic knowledge of mammalian cell culture maintenance, transfection, viral titration, flow cytometry and CAR-T cell production.

At Umeå center for electron microscopy facility, I was accepted as an intern researcher to conduct my own research project. Under the supervision of Linda Sandblad as my thesis and internship supervisor I have purified 𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘺𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘻𝘶𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘦 division proteins (FtsQ, FtsL, DivIC) that tend to form a complex in vivo to attend at the cell division site and stimulate constrictive force to complete cytokinesis. In this research position I have gained experience about many different wet lab techniques such as fast protein liquid chromatography systems for purification, cloning, and protein expression. In this position, I managed a research project from start to end which made me gain experience in experimental design, lab and resource management.

E-commerce technician in cleaning product seller company. Responsibilities I took mostly include product upload to the website, order follows, stock controls, and marketing.

My thesis title is "determining the key properties and interaction capabilities of purified UCP2 in the context of UCP1 to provide a platform for understanding UCP function."
