Negotiate contracts for transportation, distribution, or logistics services. Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers. Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency. Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements. Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation. Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes. Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies. Create policies or procedures for supply chain and 3PL network logistics activities.. Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics. Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery. Prepare forms or applications. Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated system

Active organization and participation in daily operational activities. Handling of container transports or transport related matters within Izmir/Mersin Liaise with other departments to maintain services to customers with reference to the provision of container equipment within principals guidelines Container control, in all aspects of controlling equipment in the region Close control over operations costs. Process improvement.  Customs and operations, includes acting on behalf of the company at the Customs and Port Authority.  Transport  Equipment reutilization  Cost control  Daily equipment control  Terminal productivity  Vessel Operations  Vendor KPI • Saving costs by most logical planning, looking at: o Stock situations o Triangulation possibilities o Twining possibilities. o Service level of vendor • Ensure that all haulage activities are processed and all instructions sent to the hauliers • Make sure that all e-mails are handled by the end of the day • Ensure an acceptable service level towards our offices and CSR departments, in line with the targets/ KPI’s  Assist in negotiations with hauliers • Responsible for container operations for Izmir/Mersin which includes: • Maintenance and repairs of containers • Liaising with depots over daily operations and movement reporting • Assisting on implementing all computer related systems relating to container control • Monitor depot performance in respect of container control / reporting / MNR and initiate action where required • In liaison with other departments monitor/prepare long stay container report • Carry out applicable function as per the quality systems manual • Ensure stock levels are maintained to adequately service customer requirements. This is to be done in co-operation with CSR/Sales department • Check and approve invoices relating to container control activities • When required on/off hire equipment/position surplus equipment to instructions and guidelines

- To create a setup which is serviced to Maersk ve OOCL’s lines- to direct and organise in this context. To undertake the agency of ships of port operations and the owners of the lines in Turkish territorial waters. - To carry out the Bosphorus Transition of the containers, tankers, weys and cruise ships, agency and operational services at port and shipyard stops. To direct and organise the ships which calls at the Black Sea coastal countries via sub agents. - To organise and plan to fulfil the requests and necessay approvals of ships’ personnel changes, provision and fuel supply - To ensure proper communication between shipowner- ship and third person and prepare convenient pro formas for the type and loads of the ships. - To follow the customs processes, co-ordinate and provide the organisation between port administrations and ships. Additional Responsibilities; - I don’t only offer service at a desk in the office but also work as a boarding officer at the field meanwhile.

- To agency the ships servising to Ambarlı-Haydarpaşa-Istanbul-Tuzla region, to prepare loading and evacuation plans and to monitor the operation coordinately with the ship’s staff. - To follow the customs processes, coordinate and provide the organisation between Port Administrations and ships. - To organise and plan to fulfil the requests and necessay approvals of ships’ personnel changes, provision and fuel supply .
