I worked closely with HHMI scientists to report, write, and develop visually compelling research news stories for HHMI's website, newsletter, social media channels, and for pitching targeted media.

• Wrote breaking news stories, features, reviews and more on the latest scientific research, all geared towards an audience of general readers and students. • Covered a wide range of topics, from the mysterious calls of pygmy blue whales to the discovery of titanosaur fossils in Madagascar. • Conceived and developed story ideas, and performed extensive reporting to craft clear pictures of current scientific knowledge. • Worked with a team of editors and art designers to create art, infographics, and multimedia for online and print magazine.

• Wrote articles profiling scientists and their work to promote scientific research funded by the NCI. • Worked as a part of Public Affairs and Research Communication team to devise strategies to share NCI research with the public. • Wrote explainer articles to help lay audiences understand technical basics about cancer.
