I'm a writer and editor for Maria Shriver's award-winning publication, The Sunday Paper. I report and write original content, work with new writers as an assigning editor, and collaborate with Maria and her team to produce this weekly newsletter. I'm also writing a book on women's health for The Open Field, Maria's imprint at Penguin Random House.

I assigned, edited, and wrote more than half of the features and columns in this leading national yoga magazine, and played an integral role in idea generation for the print, digital, and marketing departments. I built relationships with writers, yoga and meditation teachers, and other experts, and served as a subject matter expert on photo shoots.

I oversaw the planning, assigning, editing, and programming of editorial articles and six weekly e-newsletters for HealthAdvisor.com. I worked with social media, marketing, and the development teams in addition to managing more than a dozen freelance writers and recipe developers.

I managed an eight-person editorial staff in LA and NYC for TotalBeauty.com and BeautyRiot.com, and helped drive and maintain all aspects of digital content strategy for both sites. I executed multi-million dollar sponsored content campaigns for clients such as Proctor & Gamble, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, L'Oreal, and more.

I top-edited the entire magazine to get copy ready for the EIC, and worked closely with the EIC to manage the editorial budget. I also assigned and edited most features and essays each issue, and wrote articles as needed.
