With over 15 years of experience in legal and insurance fields, I serve as Assistant Vice President, Claims Counsel at Intercare Insurance Services. In this role, I manage the resolution of complex, high-severity medical malpractice claims, partnering with healthcare providers and entities, defense counsel, as well as external and internal teams to drive effective, strategic outcomes. My background spans litigation oversight, risk mitigation, and claims operations, with a focus on supporting healthcare professionals and institutions through sound legal strategy and collaborative problem-solving. I’m known for my ability to manage sensitive, high-stakes matters while building strong relationships across departments and delivering consistent results. I also serve as a resource for policy interpretation, claims best practices, and workflow improvements that enhance both efficiency and alignment. I’m passionate about mentoring others, supporting professional growth, and creating a culture of accountability, clarity, and teamwork. I hold a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and a B.A. in Classics.
