I assisted in the opening of a brand new retail location and cultivated a culture that was an ideal representation of the company. This included hiring, training, and supervising over 70 new team members. Training included business procedures to product knowledge. I screened applicants and conducted all first round interviews while guiding new employees through the orientation and acclimation of the their new position. I fostered community relations by raising over $8,000 for various charitable organization throughout the city. I functioned as a Manager on Duty and resolved complex customer situations while avoiding disappointment. In addition I was responsible for developing a monthly development planned aimed at improving revenue while operating within a budget.

As a Patient Care Technician, I am in a unique position to assist nurses while expanding my skill profile as a nursing student. I serve the nurses of the unit in a support role. I aid patients by obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy procedures, and assisting with activities of daily living. Documentation of care is done with electronic medical records; I am proficient in both Quest and Epic medical software systems. Communication between myself and the nurses also plays a critical role in my position ensuring patient safety and quality care.
