Megan Jackson
Manager, Workforce Planning @ Government of Alberta
About
Beginning my academic career and entering the workforce in the health and fitness industry, I hold my Bachelor of Kinesiology and was previously a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer. Towards the end of this degree I realized that although fitness will always be a passion of mine, I had discovered a new interest and strengths in an entirely new area of work. Completing my Bachelor of Commerce with a Strategic Management & Organization major, I selected courses with a strong Human Resource focus. Having now worked in various aspects of business and HR has only further reinforced my utmost confidence in this career decision. I am passionate about developing employee relationships: Not only by working directly with the employees of the organization, but also by influencing and working alongside management to ensure employees are supported and business policies and organizational goals are met.
