Management of the regulatory aspects of import and export programs for the companies diverse portfolio of products and brands.

As the Regulatory Affairs Specialist I am in charge of maintaining regulatory compliance for WellPet products for both domestic and international markets. I provide regulatory direction to our international and domestic marketing teams to maintain the highest level of compliance with local, state, federal and international bodies. I provide analysis of our products and manufacturing processes to determine eligibility for export to new international markets. I assist in gaining the necessary permits, registrations and documentation to successfully gain entry for our products into foreign markets. I am in charge of managing our domestic licensing, product registration and tonnage documentation to ensure that our products are able to be sold in all 50 states. I am part of a collaborative label review cross functional team that maintains continuity, accuracy and compliance of all WellPet products. I work closely with state departments of agriculture to maintain state compliance, USDA to successfully execute international health certificate documentation and compliance, APHIS to successfully execute the proper inspections for export of our products and with international government bodies to ensure that we meet regulations and custom requirements. As the Regulatory Affairs Specialist I take part in AFIA committee meetings and attend all AAFCO meetings. I am in charge of updating the company with new regulations and establishing a plan of action in order to implement these new regulations.

Determine requirements for export of pet food to new international markets. Work with USDA to maintain and compile the necessary documentation to execute international export. Work with domestic state regulators to maintain pet food label and product compliance.

As the Front Office Coordinator I was in charge of fielding all phone calls into the corporate office and routing calls to the proper employees. I was in charge of maintaining the company cell phone plan; assisting with billing inquiries, plan overages, issues with devices and other day to day issues. I maintained office supplies including printer toners for over 10 printers. I completed special supply orders, fed ex requests, mailings, and office space repair requests.

I assisted with everyday care of equine patients. Administered medications and treatments. Assisted in procedures and surgeries. I was on call for medical and surgical emergencies and evaluated patients upon admission. I monitored equines admitted into the hospital through out their hospitalization. I assisted in nuclear scintigraphy procedures for equines, canines and feline patients.
