My daily tasks include, but are not limited to, scheduling appointments, answering phones, filing, sending faxes, and greeting college personnel. Also, I often run errands around campus on behalf of the President, and work with highly confidential information.

The position allowed me to be creative with a wide variety of clients. I assisted bride-to-be's with finding "the dress," and all other bridal apparel needs, including accessories, bridesmaids dresses, and flower girl dresses. I was able to grow my customer service skills a great deal in this position. It was crucial that I create a trusting and comfortable relationship with each of my clients since I was essentially going be assisting them with trying on dresses. In addition, it was crucial to create a meaningful and sincere experience since wedding gown shopping is one the most important shopping experiences in a woman's life. After a bride's first appointment, I continued to keep in touch with her to ensure that all of her wedding needs were met. I also was able to build my leadership skills in this position. I was the team leader at a bridal expo in November 2011. As team leader, I instructed technique to reach our goals and kept the associates motivated throughout the day to reach our goals.
