Megan Casillas recently finished her degree in Communication Studies at Vanguard University. She is passionate about using creativity to build community around her, whether that be through event planning, event design, or visual media. While in school, Megan balanced her role as Lead Program Board Director in the Office of Student Engagement at Vanguard University, being an independent contractor for Jesi Haack Design, and working as the Visual Media Intern at Darling Magazine. While not busy with those different roles, Megan enjoys hand lettering, reading, and building relationships with the people in her life. Through Vanguard University, Megan had the opportunity to explore her love for learning by studying abroad at Oxford University for the summer of 2017. This experience helped deepen Megan's interest in learning about different cultures and connecting with people all over the world. Megan is passionate about melding her love for creativity with creating spaces for people to foster discussion and build community.
