I have been with Wal-Mart for over five years now, I started as an unarmed security (APCH ) at the front door, and within a few months was moved to an undercover (AP). To be honest that role was by far o e of my favorites, but I quickly moved up the ladder and became a asset protection assistant manager. I helped bring a high shrink store all the way to low shrink in one year time...after around 2 years in that store I was promoted and relocated to another where I held multiple different coach positions. I have been a GM, stocking 1, and 2 coach, a front end coach and an overnight coach as well. Last year while working as the overnight night coach I was able to experience a store remodel gaining a better understanding of that whole process. At the same time I met a great guy who said come to northern Idaho to work, play, and live... taking advantage of how awesome our company is, I transfered to another store. They had no availability open for a coach position so I stepped down. what a wonderfully humbling experience it has been. . . At this walmart I started as a deli associate which is a whole new walmart experience for my as I had never worked in consumables let alone fresh, but in my true nature I stepped up a little and am now decorating cakes...I love this company!!!
