SAP MM & IMWM Consultant Responsibilities: Good Knowledge of SAP MM & IMWM modules. Gap Analysis: As Is & To be Analysis. Knowledge about the Customer-specific developments i.e. Preparing document, Testing, User training, knowledge of SAP tables, etc. Interact with End-user(s) for User Acceptance & the “Global Project Team Member(s)” for Report Acceptance, Business Processes / Blue Print finalization Incident management and SLA management. Migration of data through LSMW/SCAT. Good knowledge of batch management and serial number management. Implementation of Consignment process. Knowledge about Forms, Reports, and Label printings. Test Script writing. Provide resolution to vendors/supplier on PO & urgent shipment issues. To co-ordinate with Regional/Global SAP team for any new functional development & responsible for Testing for all the related scenarios. Provide resolutions on functional as well as technical day to day issues.

Provide SAP support for Purchasing, Receiving, IQA, Stockroom, and Inventory Analyst & Shipping Department. Coordinating with the “Regional Asia SAP Project Manager” regarding “Project Status” & Additional Requirements. Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics. Ensures documented procedures and work instructions are up-to-date and monitors personnel compliance. To co-ordinate with Regional SAP team for any new functional development & responsible for Testing for all the related scenarios. Drive all Purchase and Inventory related Metrics (PR to PO, Invoice issue, Excess & Obsolete, RTV, RTC, Pullin, Pushout, BTP, CTI, Interim, MRB).

Procurement of part as per bill of material (BOM). Floating RFQ for the new parts added/changes in Customer BOM. Extending part for Procurement in SAP, creating MCO for maintaining MPN in SAP. Creating info record and source list in SAP to source to best supplier based on the support. Maintaining Quota arrangement in SAP. Timely release of Purchase Orders on vendors as per requirement generated after MRP Run in SAP. Carrying out root cause/Why-Why analysis to fix procurement issue. Identifying Supplier managed inventory for the common parts/local parts to reduce inventory level and liability of excess inventory. Updating Supplier updates back in system to have data integrity perfect in SAP. For Bulky/volumetric B class items, order interval maintained 7 days to have benefit of storage in house. To meet or exceed desired service levels and inventory targets as defined for the products assigned. Updating vendors for quality defects & for related quality improvements in receiving material. Generating Excess/obsolete report and checking for the alternate part within plant and outside plant to reduce the inventory. Pull in Push out & Cancellation of PO’s execution to limit liability of material. Providing Plan to local supplier to have time to time delivery. Co-ordination with finance for Vendor payment. Worked with accounting personnel in resolving invoice discrepancies if any. To keep the pricing track ( i.e. Indigenous as well the International ) of high value materials to plan purchases in such a way to have the pricing benefits. Work with alternate vendor for price negotiations. Aged RTV and RTC. To efficiently and accurately execute core procurement processes for assigned products. Co-ordinate with Internal Business Partner (requestor) and Supplier for Purchase Order Changes. Highlight Critical shortages to vender.

Raw material issues as per daily plan from warehouse to production floor with insure the issue slip. Reconciliation of highly secured SmartChip & SmartCard in production floor. Provide reconciliation report to US based customer in month end. Share next 2 days shortages material to buyers. Updating physical material consumption in SAP system as per production. Maintain minimum level of inventory in production floor. Ensure the physical counting and system correction (SAP) of each single part. Implemented tool to find the unknown shortage material in production floor. Fulfill urgent requirement of material, which is critical on assay line within short time. Implemented the material replenishment system, Implemented KANBAN system. Cost saving & continuous improvements in process & quality as a member of continuous improvement team & NPI Team. Improvement in material handling method to reduce material handling. Ensures all transactions are complete both physically and systematically. Coordinates activities with other functional departments and work cell teams within the Operation. Maintenance of FIFO while stocking and material issue Daily cycle counts as per Geographical location. Conduct daily meeting for discuss & highlights the issue. Effectively solve the problem within department, if not then escalate it to the top management with appropriate solutions. Reporting departmental metrics with root cause analysis to the management team. Involved in the coordination and/or execution of a physical inventory. Ability to respond to all material purges, deviations, and ECN’s (Engineering Change Notice) within the necessary time frame.
