As Director (Head of Operations), I am responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational functions of the company, ensuring the effective execution of projects and alignment of departmental objectives with overall business goals. My role encompasses the planning and optimization of operational workflows, resource and budget management, and the continuous improvement of internal processes. Took full leadership of multiple BMS, Security System, Infrastructure & Networking, Electrical, and all types of ELV Systems projects, managing execution from design through to commissioning — despite the “Assistant” title in the early phase, served as the de facto Project Manager. Directed project planning, costing, budgeting, and procurement, ensuring financial control and cost savings. Managed end-to-end operations: manpower allocation, subcontractor supervision, quality assurance, and testing/commissioning. Led a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and technicians, building high-performing teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Served as primary client and consultant liaison, overseeing meetings, approvals, and issue resolution for smooth delivery. Ensured strict adherence to MOM, BCA, and client safety standards, embedding WSH practices in all projects. Consistently exceeded expectations by delivering large-scale and high-profile projects, positioning RH Synergy as a trusted systems integrator in Singapore. Maintained top sales position within the company for 3 consecutive years, contributing directly to revenue growth. Assisted Project Managers in the design, planning, and execution of large-scale electrical, ELV, and BMS projects for government, healthcare, commercial, and industrial clients. Prepared shop drawings, AutoCAD schematics, and technical documentation for client and consultant approvals. Coordinated with suppliers and vendors for material procurement, cost estimation, and delivery schedules, ensuring alignment with project budgets. Supervised installation teams on-site, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle. Managed testing and commissioning of systems including CCTV, access control, public address, fibre optic cabling, and integrated BMS solutions. Conducted site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits, ensuring compliance with MOM, BCA, and client safety requirements. Worked closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues and achieve timely project handover. Promoted to Project Engineer after consistently demonstrating strong project ownership, problem-solving ability, and client satisfaction. Supervised day-to-day site operations for electrical, ELV, and security system installations across commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects. Coordinated with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure work progress met design specifications, safety requirements, and deadlines. Led installation teams of technicians and subcontractors, providing on-the-job training to junior staff to improve work quality and productivity. Oversaw cabling, panel installation, testing, and commissioning for systems such as CCTV, access control, public address, and building management systems. Implemented Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) procedures, ensuring compliance with MOM and BCA standards. Prepared daily progress reports, tracked material usage, and assisted in procurement planning to prevent project delays. Promoted to Senior Site Supervisor in recognition of strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and consistent delivery of projects ahead of schedule. Joined as a Technician on basic salary of $18/day. Worked on system dismantling, cabling, and installation projects. Recognized for diligence and leadership, quickly entrusted with team coordination.
