Responsible for category management of raw materials for in-house API (drug substance) manufacturing - including intermediates, regulatory starting materials, solvents, commodities, catalysts, and related inputs - as well as APIs and excipients used in Drug Product manufacturing. Scope spans sourcing activities across both R&D programs and the commercial pipeline, acting as a sourcing expert and trusted advisor to the line of business by recommending optimal procurement and supply solutions. Key activities include developing category strategies and plans, and executing them through sourcing projects, market screening, RFx processes, supplier selection and qualification, cost and supply optimization, suppliers segmentation, market analysis, and ensuring continuous supply in full compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
