Various projects such: AL Raha Beach Dev, Yas Acres, Mayan, Ansam, Alhadeel development West Yas (Infra, School, recreation area, marine work, villas) Job Description:  To ensure the implementation and adherence to ALDAR OSH Policy, OSH/EHS Management system OSHAD CoP’s and Mechanisms requirements, UAE and EAD Laws on ALDAR Projects by all of the concerned parties that work on ALDAR’s behalf, including Project Management Consultants and Principal Contractors  Develop, review and write ALDAR HSSE Policies, Process, Procedures and Guidelines.  Undertake training need assessments for staff against the scope of the work/job designations identify shortfalls within the competency requirements, deliver and or arrange training as required. Ensure that training records are maintained. Training matrix.  Prepare schedules for audit and inspection, carryout audits and inspections as per the schedules for the following groups; Project Management Consultants, Principle Contractors and Sub-contractors.  Monitor and ensure control is maintained on health, safety and environmental related matters at ALDAR offices, to include the following emergency evacuation plans, fire marshals, fire drills, portable appliance test PAT, first aid resources, Ergonomics assessments.  Develop and approve proactive HSSE monitoring programs for project management and construction supervision consultants.  Analysis data and compile Monthly HSSE Reports for ALDAR HSSE department & higher management this includes “Dashboard Reports” & “Projects specific reports”.  Preparing the annual HSSE statistic report, carryout review and provide recommendations.  Manage & monitor the Project Management, Consultant and Principle Contractor to evaluate their HSSE performance in order to ensure compliance with ALDAR HSSE and OSHAD requirements.  Interview new recruits to the HSSE staff to assess their competency and their ability to carry out their job roles and manage HSSE effectively.

Job Description: implementation of Clients HSSE policy and the Abu Dhabi H&S Codes of Practice for Construction Sites, site welfare inspections, responsible for contractor and sub-contractors safety performance across all infrastructure and reclamation works, this includes, accident and incident investigation, inspections, report writing, audits, problem solving, compiling monthly statistics for proactive H&S management including trends, incident control, co-operation and communication with contractor senior management, enforcement of project procedures from a consultant viewpoint, reviewing method statement and risk assessment, observe lifting operations, inspection of deep excavation including confined space, All office based health and safety i.e. emergency evacuation plans, fire marshals, fire drills, monthly safety managers meeting and ensuring that work progresses to programme but safely.
