QA/QC Electrical Engineer – 2000MW AC PV IPP Project Served as a QA/QC Electrical Engineer on a large-scale 2000MW AC Utility-Scale Solar PV Independent Power Plant (IPP), ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements across all electrical activities. Key Responsibilities: Conducted and witnessed Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for major electrical equipment including inverters, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, RMUs, and protection systems to verify performance and compliance prior to shipment. Performed and coordinated Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and pre-commissioning activities to ensure proper installation, functionality, and system readiness prior to energization. Prepared, submitted, and managed Requests for Inspection (RFI) for electrical works including DC systems, PV modules, string cabling, combiner boxes, inverters, MV cable laying and termination, grounding systems, and substation equipment. Reviewed IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and material submittals to ensure alignment with approved specifications and project standards. Identified non-conformities, issued NCRs, and followed up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure and compliance. Conducted site inspections to verify installation quality of cable trays, conduits, DC strings, MV networks, transformers, switchgear, and earthing systems. Organized, maintained, and audited QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, FAT/SAT records, test reports, red-line drawings, and final turnover dossiers in a structured and traceable filing system. Supported commissioning, energization, and final handover activities by ensuring completeness and accuracy of quality documentation and test records.
