As a member of the Procurement Planning Group, I lead strategic initiatives that enhance global collaboration, talent development, and operational planning across the procurement division. Key Responsibilities: ・Facilitate global alignment through the organization of the Global Procurement Management Meeting. ・Oversee talent management for over 80 procurement professionals, including career development and engagement initiatives. ・Manage budgeting and workforce planning for the headquarters procurement team. During my rotational training in indirect material sourcing, I contributed to a total cost reduction/avoidance of ¥58 million through strategic supplier re-selection. My responsibilities included managing sourcing projects for outsourced support for associates working abroad, janitorial services, and security guards across multiple factories. To ensure successful outcomes, I consolidated information and proposals from several suppliers into clear, comparable formats, enabling stakeholders to make well-informed decisions. I also coordinated closely with all parties involved to maintain schedules and drive projects to completion. This experience taught me the importance of proactive communication and structured decision-making, lessons that remain a foundation of how I approach work today.

As a fresh graduate, I joined Terumo's procurement division and quickly took on key responsibilities in supplier management and operational improvement. My role focused on revising raw material specifications, negotiating and executing supply contracts with new suppliers, and identifying process enhancements to improve procurement efficiency. Key Achievements: ・Gained comprehensive understanding of procurement workflows and material management operations. ・Successfully concluded five basic supply agreements with new suppliers. ・Reached a long-awaited agreement with TE on purchasing specifications after six years of negotiation. ・Awarded the Silver Prize in TPM activities for stabilizing material supply through improvements to the Tetramaster ERP system. ・Participated in a two-week field training program with sales representatives, visiting hospitals in Saitama Prefecture to deepen cross-functional collaboration, enhance product knowledge, and strengthen understanding of customer relationship management.
