Oversaw White House communications across a number of policy priorities, including immigration reform, implementation of major legislation, and national crises that required rapid response. Also led internal communications around personnel changes and the overall presidential transition. Developed crisis communications strategies in close partnership with White House counsel, particularly with regard to litigation, oversight, and government accountability.

Led strategic communications around the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

Led the Global Campaign Strategy Unit, the strategic communications office at the Department of State. Supervised a team of communications managers who coordinated across the interagency to run messaging campaigns on key issues including: COVID-19 recovery, China relations, the climate crisis, refugees and migration, and human rights.

Developed and executed the overarching communications strategy for the North Carolina campaign, one of the most critical battleground state programs. Led the communications operation in North Carolina.

Worked with Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs' community foundation to support Stockton during the COVID-19 crisis.

Served as the Chief of Staff to National Co-Chair and Mayor Michael Tubbs during the Bloomberg campaign.

Built out and executed the communications strategy and operation for then Senator Harris's campaign in the presidential primary.

Developed and implemented the press strategy for the electoral programs at NextGen America, a youth vote mobilization organization. My focus was on executing our strategy across 6 states: Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and New Hampshire.
