Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Maxwell Zucker and I was born and raised in Hollywood, CA. I currently reside in Los Angeles where I work as a Buyer for jewelry, loose gemstones and high-end timepieces. I’ve recently completed GIA’s Graduate Gemologist program at their NYC campus in-person, where I graded 300 diamonds and graded/identified 2,600+ colored gemstones. Although I have a BA in Political Science (and there is quite an overlap between political science and jewelry/gemstones), my real passion remains in the world of business and entrepreneurship. Ever since I started my first “side hustle” selling phone cases and accessories out of my locker in 7th grade, I've been hooked on the tremendous sense of satisfaction and overall happiness I gain from the selling ceremony. My main professional experience lies in the realm of retail and sales, but I have had a plethora of jobs throughout my life that have contributed to a very diverse skillset. From selling high-end sneakers in West Hollywood/suits in Beverly Hills/fine jewelry and watches in Newport Beach to writing programming for a Jewish summer camp in New York to managing parking lots in San Francisco/Las Vegas/Orange County, my work experience spans a number of industries. I'm also a very large presence in the world of e-commerce, specifically in the Facebook Marketplace community and on eBay, where I resell a wide range of items. Sales categories I’ve covered in e-commerce include: rare coins and currency, fine jewelry and watches, streetwear, rare sneakers and other fashion items, luxury items, leather goods, collectibles, memorabilia, and pretty much anything you could possibly want or need.
