Oversee and monitor school authorities to ensure adherence to ministry legislation, regulations, policies, directives, and procedures. Lead the annual evaluation and approval of school authority Education Plans and Annual Education Results Reports. Gather, synthesize, and share system intelligence to keep senior officials and the Minister apprised of current and emerging issues in the field. Develop and maintain relationships based on trust, integrity, and a shared understanding of the operations of the school system.

The creation of a new Commission for the enacted Division 3.1 Discipline of Teachers and Teacher Leaders the Education Act. Main responsibility was to operationalize the legislation. This involved mapping the touchpoints between the Alberta Teaching Profession Commission and various sectors within the Government of Alberta as well as with the Alberta Teachers Association during the transition process. Create the temporary Case Management system using a variety of Microsoft Tools. Supervise creation of the permanent case management system work with a programming company for the final product. Training staff on the operating procedures and provide professional development that support the work.

Apply the Alberta Education Curriculum Framework to the review, evaluate, source, customize and/or develop learning and teaching resources to support implementation of new curriculum. Establish and maintain strong communication and working relationships with stakeholders (including ministry staff, publishers, teachers, school administrators). Engage and communicate with staff and parents to create effective educational plans for deserving and diverse students in a dynamic faith-based environment while aligning resources in a responsible manner. Administration experience includes: International Baccalaureate Program (Prinary Yests Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme including the only Self Directed IB program) Advanced Placement, Sports Academies (Hockey, Baseball, Lacrosse, Soccer and Golf), ImmersionLanguage Programs, Division Fine Arts Program, and Knowledge and Employability Division Site. Accomplishments: Fiscal response plan in addressing deficit budgets at multiple locations. Fraser Institute Award for Multi year growth in Provincial Achievement and Diploma results. Microsoft Certified Educator. 90+% High School Completion rate for five Grade 12 classes.
