Spearhead Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) Informatics’s application and database development group that designs, implements, tests, deploys, documents, and supports systems utilizing data from UM’s Enterprise Electronic Health Record system), UM’s research data systems, and external data sets. Liaise with UHealth IT and UMIT divisions, clinicians, researchers, analysts, UM’s Office of Privacy and Data Security, and external vendors. • Mentored six UHealth IT Programmers, Analysts, and Help Desk Support Technicians. • Led implementation of a custom online application for patient cohort exploration and visualization of clinical data derived from UHealth’s EHR. • Managed project that added Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) genomic data from UHealth patients to UHealth IT’s clinical data warehouse and online application for oncology clinical trials recruitment. • Coinvented genomic data extraction system licensed to Deep Lens Inc. for oncology precision therapies and clinical trials matching. System is compatible with major NGS vendors. • Led integration of cancer staging, pathology, and tissue specimen systems with custom application, pioneering analysis of this data on a front-end application for UM clinicians and researchers. • Contributed SQL queries and provided quality assurance for UM’s COVID-19 Command Center Dashboard used by UM’s executive leadership to monitor COVID-19 statistics at the institution. • Managed Secure Workbench deployment, a virtual environment for UM clinicians, researchers, and staff to analyze confidential clinical, research, and financial data. • Provided Tier III support for REDCap, UM’s enterprise research electronic data capture system.
