As CEO of Quobly, France-based quantum startup founded in 2022, I am leading efforts to bring an operable quantum processor based on a major advance—the silicon spin qubit—to the market rapidly. How? By harnessing the capabilities of Europe’s existing semiconductor fabs. They already know how to fabricate millions of identical transistors. What makes Quobly unique is that we can now apply the same scalability to qubits. Quantum computing was within the scope of this position. It was there that I met future Quobly cofounder Tristan Meunier in 2016. Together with Silvano De Franceschi, we won a prestigious ERC Synergy Grant to get past the scientific hurdles on the path to silicon-based large-scale quantum computing.
