Side Projects. I build and run high-traffic consumer apps focused on music and fitness. jog.fm (launched 2010) helps runners find music that matches their pace—now serves several hundred thousand athletes monthly. SongBPM (launched 2011) does one thing well: tells you the tempo of any song. Half a million monthly users. Both have been featured in TIME, Rolling Stone, Wired, Runner's World, and others.

Web3 product studio - merged into Catena Labs. Built Verite, the decentralized identity standard now used by Circle, Block, Polygon, Ledger, and others. Also shipped usdc.cool, a stablecoin analytics platform used by the Wall Street Journal and other major publications.

Aimed to tokenize real world assets, starting with private company equity as the initial wedge. Proved too early from a regulatory standpoint, so pivoted to helping employees exercise their stock options while minimizing their tax burden.

Joined day one. Helped scale from six people to 300+ and a >$3B valuation through multiple zero-to-one products, M&A, regulator education, and hypergrowth. Led product/engineering for all consumer products. Helped build and launch USDC—now the most dominant regulated stablecoin.

Built AppCloud, an early no-code mobile app platform for large media companies.

Led the Ruby on Rails practice. Built products for Philips, CJP, Concord Consortium. Founded and ran the Boston Ruby on Rails meetup group.

Lead engineer at a CRV-backed startup. Built consumer products for student safety and distributed tools for field operations.

Implemented FIPS-compliant cryptographic algorithms for IBM mainframes (z/OS) used in backend banking software.

Built onboarding experiences for early internet companies including some of the first internet banks. Created an adaptive rendering engine that adjusted content delivery based on connection speed and device capabilities—used on att.com and other high-traffic properties.
