Natera is a world leader in genetics. Our mission is to offer a portfolio of prenatal, transplant and oncology tests with genetic counseling to change the management of disease. Our flagship non-invasive prenatal test, Panorama, is the highest volume clinical genetic test in US history. It has changed pregnancy management and reduced invasive tests like amniocentesis worldwide. We have CLIA/CAP/NYS/FDA-CTA certified labs in California and Texas, along with roughly 70 lab partners internationally. Natera uses advanced molecular methods and machine learning to achieve accuracy and coverage for analyzing tiny amounts of DNA, as little as single molecules. Signatera, which tracks a patient’s unique cancer mutations in blood, has received many breakthrough designations from the FDA and Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory Test status and broad reimbursement from CMS. It is able to detect recurrence of cancers up to a year before clinical symptoms and guides therapy use in the adjuvant and advanced settings. We are engaged in over 60 studies with leading cancer centers and pharma, including multiple late stage companion diagnostic trials, for monitoring residual disease, managing chemo-and immunotherapy and personalized cancer vaccines. We were initially funded by investors such as Sequoia Capital and six NIH grants for which I served as PI. Natera is publicly traded as NTRA.

MyOme’s mission is to reduce medical costs and improve outcomes by bringing the power of whole genome genetic sequencing (WGS) and polygenic predictive modelling to the clinic. Myome was funded by Dr Rabinowitz along with the top venture capital firms in the country, such as Sequoia Capital, Founders Fund, Foresite Capital, Healthcare Venture Partners etc. MyOme is developing a suite of technologies related to WGS diagnostics and genetics-based interventions such as gene editing. The company has completed the first ever IVF cycles using whole-genome reconstruction of embryos: The full genome was used to evaluate polygenic disease models spanning autoimmune, cancer, cardiovascular, metabolic, and cognitive conditions, to select embryos least likely to convey disease from one generation to the next. MyOme has combined clinical data with whole-genome genetic models that work across diverse ethnicities to enhance a clinical risk prediction for breast cancer and other common phenotypes.

Founder and Executive Chairman
NatureEye (www.natureeye.com) emerged from work with the World Wildlife Fund. The concept is to transform the profitability of nature conservation by allowing people in their homes to fly drones as avatars in iconic wildlife sanctuaries around the world. This has been enabled by recent advances in drone technology for image recognition, obstacle avoidance, 50x zoom and long flight times, as well as high video quality low-latency com links like Starlink. Users include parents seeking fun educational activities with their kids, corporate event planners, schools etc. and booking revenues are split 50/50 with the conservancies. Although NatureEye is a for-profit company, the project is also about upliftment of the local communities who serve as guides and often manage the conservancies. Ultimately, we intend to serve the >$1T world tourism market as drone owners anywhere can log their drone onto NatureEye for use. We intend for the real-world avatar experience to leverage many of the technologies and trends of virtual reality and also enable real-time truth verification, which is increasingly crucial with the growth of social media news and AI.

Executive Chairman
Marble Therapeutics is a company out of the Wyss Institute of Harvard Medical School. Its technology uses chaos theory and nonlinear dynamical modelling of longitudinal genetic data. It is developing anti-aging therapeutics that leverage gene therapies to modulate gene signaling pathways.

While Rabinowitz was CEO of the company, it was recognized as one of the ten "Most Promising Wireless Startups in the US" by Wireless Ventures. While Rabinowitz was CTO, the company was recognized as one of the Top 100 Technology Startup Companies by Red Herring, and one of 20 top Technology Pioneers by the World Economic Forum.

Co-Founder
Panopticon Inc.
Panopticon was founded to address the challenge of online, real-time merchandising. It developed optimization techniques that harnessed data generated online to distill from unmanageably large sets of products and services those items that a user was likely to like. It generated an early form of user profile and recommendation engine for books, movies, etc based on browsing history. In 2000, the company was sold for roughly $100M.
