For more than 25 years, Matthias “mk” Kroener has the mission to innovate and disrupt the financial services industry. Via his company “Professional Development GmbH” he is an active "company creator". Past projects are the creation of FIDOR Group including Fidor Bank (global fintech development pioneer, often called as the "oldest Fintech Bank of the world") and Fidor Solutions as well as DAB Bank and the open market banking market place Efficient Scale. Within Fidor Bank and DAB Bank mk served as CEO. Founding two banks, Matthias does have a strong experience in corporate finance actitivities, including the IPO of DAB Bank in 1999, the acquisition of Selftrade in 2000, the acquisition of shareholders for Fidor Group and finally the tradesale of Fidor in 2016. As a thought leader, mk is known as an inspirational keynote speaker.
