I have taught or tutored students in all levels of math from elementary through Calc 2. I'm also an experienced interviewer of other educators. I have a very wide array of other interests, with the educational background to match. I can teach or tutor English / language arts, French (any level), Spanish (beginning to intermediate), music theory, and music composition. I run the Princeton Campus of the Art of Problem Solving Academy. It is my job to meet with parents and students before they join the program, interview potential instructors, teach classes, and do outreach / marketing / sales as well.

I became Private Prep's Hiring Director during a time of change for the company: it was in the process of expanding to other metropolitan areas. It quickly became apparent that I would not be able to personally interview all potential incoming tutors, as my predecessors in the role had done. So, I built a team of interviewers out of some of our best tutors. I also strengthened our interview protocols, including for test-prep tutors, who form the backbone of Private Prep's workforce.

Every summer for four years, I taught at Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics. BEAM is an incredible program that introduces talented students from disadvantaged backgrounds to higher mathematics. My job was to teach Math Team Strategies, a course I designed, where the goal was to help students tackle the kinds of problems often found on contests like AMC8 and MathCounts.
