Matthew Snow, CPA, CA, CFA

Matt has earned recognition as a CA, from the CICA, and a CFA from the CFAI. Raised in Halifax, NS, Matt has spent his entire career working in Atlantic Canada. For the Cherubini Group (and in previous industry CFO roles), Matt plays a critical role in creating value for owners, managing family office objectives, and leading finance departments to continuously improve process, reporting and analytics. At PwC, Matt leveraged transaction and restructuring experience across a wide range of industries to support the deals practice at PwC. Matt was often relied upon in reviewing and analyzing corporate structures, capital structures, and financial performance, analysis which has been integrated in published articles, client pursuits, and the creation of value for clients. As a manager of financial planning and analysis, Matt was responsible for developing and monitoring financial projections, assessing the financial impact of procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, supply chain, and sales decisions, and assisting with financial reporting to the Board of Directors. Matt also played a critical role in facilitating transaction and refinancing diligence and assisting with special projects. As an Investment Manager, Matt was responsible for preparing company reports for shareholders, investigating new investment opportunities, allocating capital, performing due diligence on acquisitions and divestitures, and monitoring risk management programs. In associate and analyst roles, Matt accumulated experience in informal and formal corporate restructurings, buy and sell side due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, project management and consulting, and assurance and advisory across a wide range of industries including but not limited to: car rental and transportation, aquaculture, pulp and paper, technology, and healthcare.
