Using analytics and statistics, I complete my assigned articles for all professional and collegiate sports and provide my picks in these games. I am assigned articles weekly and these can range from writing 5-15 per week

During my 8 week internship with 680 The Fan, I was able to work in all different departments and get an idea of the day to day life of many employees. I was able to work behind the scenes with the programming department for 6am radio show, and then switched over to the sales and promotions team to work day to day activities in the office and at other locations when needed. I was able to work 680 The Fan promoted events such as the Legacy Golf classic that is annually hosted and was even given the opportunity to be apart of my own sports talk/intern podcast with fellow interns that is available to listen under the company's' umbrella.

Interned for the Chicago-based sports marketing company, Intersport, during their annual Under Armour High School All-American Football game. I learned all of the behind the scenes activity that goes on starting a week before the event is played. From unloading trucks on the first day, to placing signage on the field hours before the game, to the final day of making sure all players and families have checked out and all equipment has been packaged up.
