Matthew Reid

Matthew Reid is the co-founder and partner of Pixelflakes London. He is the studio’s Visualisation Director and is responsible for the quality of all visualisation output. Having graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Architectural Visualisation he quickly went on to work with a variety of different studios within London, including Visualhouse and Vyonyx. In 2012 Matthew co-founded Pixelflakes, an architectural marketing firm that specialises in high-end imagery which represents the unbuilt. Due to popular demand Pixelflakes quickly became the ‘go-to’ studio for world-leading architectural practices such as Dar-al Handassah, WATG and Aedas. Pixelflakes is proud to have expanded its portfolio since then through successful collaborations with the likes of Foster + Partners, Thomas Heatherwick, BIG, Perkins + Will, Hawkins Brown, SOM and UNStudios to name a few. Next to architectural visualisation, Pixelflakes has created compelling branding and identity for world famous competition entries and confirmed developments. Matthew also travels throughout Europe attending various architectural events and lectures. More notably holding a lecture at TU Delft in Holland addressing the architectural students and shedding some light on the architectural visualisation industry and the unique process that Pixelflakes has developed over the past few years.
