At Hammond House, I work as a freelance camera operator, specializing in using the Lumix S5 to capture dynamic and high-quality visuals tailored to each project's needs. Alongside my on-set expertise, I am a skilled editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, combining technical precision and creative storytelling to deliver polished and engaging content from initial shoot to final edit.

In my current role, I work closely with the team at St Andrew’s Hospice to develop and shape creative ideas across a wide range of projects. My focus is on finding innovative ways to connect with our community, raise awareness, and support the hospice’s mission through strategic digital communications. I contribute to campaigns that not only inform but inspire, using storytelling, content creation, and thoughtful engagement strategies to build meaningful connections with supporters, patients, families, and the wider public. This role allows me to combine my passion for creativity with a strong sense of purpose, ensuring that each project reflects the heart of what the hospice stands for.

As the Podcast Producer for the "Behind the Headlines" series at GI Grimsby News, I play a pivotal role in the creation and dissemination of engaging and informative content. My responsibilities span multiple areas, ensuring the seamless production and promotion of our podcast episodes. I identify and reach out to potential guests, securing their participation and managing all logistical arrangements. This involves liaising with guests to schedule recordings and ensure their preparedness for the show. I conduct thorough research on guest topics and current news stories, developing insightful questions that drive compelling discussions. Additionally, I assist in crafting episode captions to enhance viewer understanding and engagement. I oversee the technical aspects of the podcast, including recording high-quality audio and performing meticulous editing to ensure a polished final product. This attention to detail guarantees a professional and enjoyable listening experience for our audience. Beyond my podcast production role, I have excelled as a liaison officer for GI News. I was instrumental in organizing press access for GI Grimsby News to attend the prestigious Sky News Battle for Number 10 debate. My efforts facilitated exclusive interviews with major leaders in British politics, including Keir Starmer, Wes Streeting, James Cleverly, Gareth Davies, and Sky News presenter Beth Rigby, showcasing my network's influence and reach. Moreover, I played a key role in the coverage of the 2024 Grimsby MP debate held at Franklin College. My coordination and collaboration ensured GI Grimsby News delivered insightful and timely reporting on this significant local event, further establishing our reputation for high-quality political journalism locally.

Camera support officer for Grimsby Town home matches for the 2024-25 season, coordinating as a small team both on the touchline and gantry, this experience requires a developed understanding of sporting tactics discussed with the first team primary sports analyst, alongside constant awareness to changing formations and events on the pitch.

Working alongside Mickey Parsons at PQA, I assist with the video teaching program, focusing on educating young people about the early stages of filmmaking. My responsibilities include helping to set up and manage the film set, ensuring a safe and productive environment for learning. I provide hands-on guidance to students, teaching them the fundamentals of filmmaking, from scriptwriting and storyboarding to filming and editing. By fostering a collaborative and creative atmosphere, I support students in developing their technical skills and creative confidence, helping them to bring their ideas to life on screen.

I was made personal director of the Humber Business Awards 2023, showcasing the best businesses in the Northern Lincolnshire region, collaborating with James King, Oliver Wood, and in collaboration with The Grimsby Institute for Further Education, I was working with the client to capture the events and awards, this includes working and coordinating with the main team at the location alongside my fellow operators to capture the proceedings, the final edit was well received by the community of award recipients.

I supported Christopher Curtis working as an assistant camera operator working on filming commercial advertisements to be distributed throughout the Phillips 66 network, these adverts covered on behalf of the company Renewable Fuels, Humber Zeo, Batteries, and Gigastack, the the opportunity allowed me to demonstrate personable skills between clients and connectively work with other creatives within the area on a shared shoot.

Supported the production in many aspects of preparation, shoot, and post-production, including booking venues, sourcing interviewees, historical research, and still photography. My responsibilities on the project have grown considerably throughout my involvement with it.

Assisted in production support during the final preparations of filming in the Lincolnshire area, roles included assisting in body double casting, production liaisons, stills photography, and production advertising roles, which helped me to develop production skills in the PR department, alongside communicating with creative talents.

Working with Samuel Sharp, we collected covering for previous local artists Bright Lights, I supported in providing unit stills on the location that then supported the band's further promotional materials on the social media channels, alongside providing alternative coverage for the main editor of the band's press management to render and edit for the band delivery of the final music video, used to promote their regional talent, which gives me a broader knowledge of connecting with a range of talents and departments to meet short-deadline objectives.
