- Lead the CNC department on improving setups and cycle times -Work closely with personnel to achieve higher efficiencies - Assist management with scheduling jobs in the shop - Work with the Quality department to address any quality issues - Enforce 5S procedures throughout the department - Train all new hires and current employees on machines, as well as get them acclimated to processes and procedures of the department - Place personnel on machines, based on their strengths - Interact with other department leads/managers to ensure jobs are completed on time - Efficient in creating reports that help identify where each job is at on the shop floor - Troubleshoot setups and create fixtures to ensure jobs are completed in a timely fashion - Verify that blueprints, tooling, and programs are accurate to move forward with production - Perform time studies on jobs to verify that cycle times, provided by engineering, are accurate - I am always looking for ways to improve shop cleanliness and organization - I like to create a friendly team based environment, where all employees work together to achieve personal and company goals.

- Setup and operate CNC Vertical Kitamura MyCenter Mills, CNC Vertical Matsuura MC510 Mills, CNC Vertical HAAS Mills VF style machines - Perform setups on HAAS HRT 210 indexers and train operators on proper usage of indexers - Perform 1st article setups and submit to QC for approval and verification of quality acceptance - Inspect parts per company QC procedures to ensure zero defects - Assist in the tool room, when necessary, to measure tools on a Zoller tool presetter - Edit existing programs to comply with cycle time expectations - Communicate with Lead Man and Supervisor in regards to programming and/or quality issues

- Setup and operated CNC 5-axis Okuma Lathe machines with bar feed - Operated Mori Seiki, Daewoo CNC Lathes, and Miyano bar feed machines - Setup and submitted 1st article parts for QC approval - Trained 2nd shift operators when required - I was the point of contact for setup and operation of the only robotic control cell for casting jobs - Assisted in the development of processes on specific jobs on the machines
