Director of Human Resources/Hospital Adjutant

Managed the human resources and personnel services support for a Combat Support Hospital consisting of 265 Soldiers. Directed all human resources functions, advised the hospital commander on all HR matters, and supervised and trained 5 Soldiers and 2 NCOs. -Submitted monthly deployment readiness reports to the Department of the Army through secret security computers, which directly affected personnel assignments, equipment issues, and vehicle maintenance support for the organization. -Researched and implemented three new Army systems (SGLI Online Enrollment System, Blended Retirement System, and Personnel Records Review) within the organization, resulting in 100% compliance for the entire Hospital of 265 Soldiers. -Reviewed, organized, and back catalogued of over 7 years’ worth of organizational files from over 1,000 Soldiers in order to meet the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS). Developed a systematic approach to adhere to the Army standards.

Director of Training, Advising, and Counseling (TAC Officer)

Independently planned, coordinated, and executed the reception of all Army medical personnel, including doctors, dentists, and nurses upon arrival to the Basic Officer Leadership Course. Interfaced electronically and through telephonically with career managers at Army Human Resources Command for doctors, physician assistants, nurses and other clinicians when assignment orders required amending. -Scheduled post-basic course transportation of all graduates to various worldwide army installations and commands through the installation transportation office.

Directed the planning, resourcing, and execution of training exercises for a training company with an average of 300 trainees. -Acted as the lead Officer in Charge of two Army Best Medical Competition Lanes; coordinating the training criteria, equipment, and personnel in the Army’s top Medical Personnel Competition. -Oversaw the Command Supply Discipline Program for the Company, which ensured that all fraud waste and abuse was prevented, identified and corrected.

Platoon Leader of a 41 US and KATUSA (Korean Augmentee to the United States Army) Soldiers medical platoon. Maintained medical readiness of the Battalion and the 958 Soldiers assigned to it and was the primary medical advisor to the Battalion Commander. -Managed the operations, maintenance, and accountability of $10 million in assigned vehicles and equipment. Successfully fielded the new Medical Equipment Sets and turned in the legacy equipment with $0 in losses. -Tracked and coordinated the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training and re-certification of 41 combat medics to ensure medical credential compliance. -Earned the coveted Expert Field Medical Badge, regarded as one of the Army’s most difficult accolades to attain.
