Strategic Sales Manager for Bodycote’s Aerospace Defense and Energy (ADE) division (West and South West Regions). Accountable for developing and implementing the regional sales and marketing strategy and the day-to-day management of a sales team located in California and Texas. Additional responsibility for negotiating long term agreements (LTA) with strategic global customers and developing the business case for geographic expansion into the Mexican Aerospace market.

General Manager with full P&L responsibility for an aerospace accredited (AS9100 & Nadcap) vacuum heat treatment and atmospheric brazing facility. Accountable for the day-to-day management of the site and the profitable growth of the business in line with the group strategy. Directly supervised: Quality, administration, engineering and production departments.

Recruited from the United Kingdom to manage the day-to-day operation of the Braze and Coating department at the Rancho Dominguez facility. Worked directly with customers and external sales team to provide technical sales support, assess opportunities, develop procedures and prepare competitive bids. Directly supervised: production scheduling, braze assembly, internal sales, process development and furnace operators.

Responsible for a global business unit comprising eleven thermal spray and ceramic coating facilities located in the UK, France, Dubai, Singapore and USA. Accountability for all aspects of the business including: strategic planning, budgeting, operations management, quality, human resources, sales and marketing supporting an extensive customer base across the Oil & Gas and Aerospace sectors with a specific focus on strategic growth and geographic expansion.

Recruited as a graduate engineer responsible for the development of coating and braze repair solutions for industrial gas turbine components. Accountable for ensuring the consistency of coating processes (HVOF, Plasma and VPA) in the UK and Thailand and key account project management. Secondary responsibility for assisting the sales team with the development of technical marketing material and representing the Technical Director at global technical forums.
