Hi! I’m Matteo Burzio born in Torino, Italy in 1986. I’m a Footwear Designer with 9 years’ exeperience in the industry. During this time, spent in different International Companies, I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge in many different fields: footwear design and development, SMU and collaboration projects, printed artworks and embroideries, 3d design and prototyping. I have a strong background in arts and graphic design, photography, video editing and deep interest for street culture, skateboarding, urban art and sneaker culture.

I was part of the SUPERGA footwear brand as a footwear designer and developer. My task was to make market research, visits trade fairs and reporting new tendencies with moodboards. I designed many new silhouettes, new outsoles and new graphic designs for the canvas prints for every new collection. I was the person in charge to develop many different SMUs for the international licensee, such as South Korea (2nd biggest market for SUPERGA after Italy), Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Netherlands, Germany and other important clients like Disney and Marvel. As a developer I prepared all the technical package for every style or artworks I was involved in, I was responsible for the product confirmation of the early stage design and checking the conformity of the pre-production samples. I also took the occasion to make presentation speeches of my new products during the internal seasonal meeting in fornt of the SUPERGA international licensees.
