During my career, i have gained a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all buying and selling functions. I have played an integral part in sourcing and setting up a complete clothing range. This role included visiting potential suppliers in the Far East, and negotiating the best possible pricing structures. Currently, i liaise with key suppliers to ensure that we can maintain a competitive discount structure, which in turn allows us to offer our client base core products at excellent prices, whilst still allowing us to retain a good profit margin. On the Sales side, i had previously been in charge of the day to day responsibility of looking after our largest client who had an annual spend well in excess of £1M. In my current role as Sales Director, i control sales strategy and planning and use my years of experience to benefit the sales team and the company. The company has continued to grow at a rapid rate on knots over the last few years, which i personally view as a great achievement in the current economic climate. This has been greatly assisted by the various measures that i have initiated and implemented to ensure that our service levels are unsurpassed within the Industry. I'm a figures man, and love to use my reporting and analysis expertise to make the right decisions to move the company forward. Most importantly i live by that ethos that 'people buy from people' and i always ensure that with my drive, passion and commitment this always shines through.
